Steven Almendarez

Steven was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He always had a passion and an awareness for art that naturally surrounded him in the world. After serving in the military and a career as a first responder, he came back to his artistic roots through drawing and wood working. Creating is his therapy and he helps other veterans and first responders as a peer counselor and through his woodwork. He loves creating functional pieces that tell a story and add emotion to their surroundings.
